Relay for life supported by 70 teams

We made a statement that this is our relay and we are proudly Toti citizens.

With over 70 teams participating, the Cansa Relay For Life at Kingsway High School has been hailed a phenomenal success by organisers.

“On behalf of the committee of the second Toti Relay for Life, we would like to congratulate the community for caring and making the relay a great success,” said the media liaison committee member for the event in Toti, Errol Theron.

“The response we had through team entries and supporters, as well as from late entries and people arriving on the night to take part was overwhelming.

The entertainers and the response speaks volumes and proves that we are certainly a close-knit and caring community willing to support each other in the fight against cancer.

We made a statement that this is our relay and we are proudly Toti citizens,” said Errol.

“Of course an event like this wouldn’t happen without sponsors, so to our wonderful sponsors, a huge thank you from the 2014 committee of Michelle Careless (chairman), Diane Saunders, Bongi Radebe, Sharon-Ann Theron, Bryan Wiggill, Elaine Woore, Mare Worthman, Brenda van der Walt, Kurt Nero, and Rochelle and Madel Buys.

We trust you enjoyed yourselves and will be back at the next relay.”
