Slippers to show support for dream foundation

To help fulfill dreams of children fighting life-threatening illnesses.

SUPPORT Reach For A Dream Foundation’s biggest annual fundraising campaign, Slipper Day on Friday, 1 August.

For the past 26 years, Reach for a Dream has been fulfilling the dreams of children fighting life-threatening illnesses. It enables children to experience a fun aspect of life, which they don’t often get to participate in because of their illness. It also inspires hope and courage and helps them believe that tomorrow is worth fighting for.

The fundraiser encourages people to wear their slippers for one day to show their support. Buy a R10 sticker and wear your slippers to work, school, the shops or wherever you choose to. If you are unable to wear your slippers, then wear your sticker with pride. By doing this, you are helping to fulfil dreams for children in hospitals and homes across South Africa.

Buy your R10 sticker from your nearest Wimpy, Makro or Hirsch’s store from 1 July.

The campaign raised a whopping R2.3 million in 2013.
