Bikers kick it up a gear for Husky Rescue

To create awareness and raise funds for the organisation.

THE Monarchs Motorcycle Club of South Africa will hit the road on Saturday, 28 June to create awareness of and raise funds for Husky Rescue.

The third, annual event starts with a mass ride at Southway Mall. Meet at 9am for a 9.30am ride which ends at Garden of Eden in Rosslyn Road, Toti.

There will be live music, food stalls and auctions on the go.

Entry is R50 and a tin of pet food. Each entrant will receive a lucky packet with a cloth badge and more. Entry for children U12 is a can of pet food, but they don’t receive a badge.

Great prizes are up for grabs for biggest club representation, best custom and rat bike and more.

In 2013, the event raised over R12,000 and a bakkie load of dog food. Husky Rescue focuses on rescuing and rehoming huskies.
