Tee off for Faron-Mae
Golfers will tee off from 11am onwards.
A GOLF day fundraiser for Faron-Mae Fisher takes place at Umdoni Park Golf Club on Sunday, 22 June.
The betterball stableford competition is open to all, and entry costs R150 per person.
Golfers will tee off from 11am onwards. Dinner is available afterwards (a braai or fish and chips) at a cost of R65 per person.
Funds raised on the day will help the little three-year-old’s parents to acquire treatment for her rare glycogen storage disease (GSD) type O. She is the only South African child with this condition and one of about 1,000 worldwide. It affects her ability to eat and drink, her speech, motor skills and normal development, and as a result she is fed through a MEC-key, a tube which enters her stomach.
