A seventeen-year-old St Winifreds boy was stabbed numerous times during a house robbery at his parent’s house in the early hours of Saturday morning, 17 May.
The SAPS KZN media centre confirmed a case of house robbery is being investigated by Amanzimoti SAPS.
“It is alleged that on 17 May at about 1am at St Winifreds, a 17-year-old victim and his friends were asleep at his residence when six armed men kicked the door open,” said Captain Thulani Zwane.
“At knife-point the robbers took cellphones, a flat screen TV and laptop before fleeing the crime scene on foot.
They stabbed the victim several times and he was taken to hospital for medical attention.
No arrests or recoveries have been made and investigations are continuing.”
