Lights to lighten the load for animal NPO

EXPERIENCE the magic of the festive season with a Christmas lights extravaganza through the garden to raise funds for 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue, a non-profit organisation, which sees to the upkeep of strays and abandoned animals in underprivileged areas of Scottburgh and surrounds.

Jacqueline Smith of Athlone Park invites the public to meander through the gardens of 680 Kingsway, which will be lit up on Friday and Saturday, 13 and 14 December to re-affirm the magic of Christmas.

“It will be truly magical with a nativity scene, the little elves workshop, Father Christmas, reindeers, angels and fairies,” said Jacqueline. The garden will be open from 6.45pm to 9.30pm. Entrance is only R20.

Music will be provided by Rob Main Baillie and the lighting is sponsored by Magic Lighting. Wors rolls and Christmas goodies will be on sale. If anyone is able to assist with donations of Christmas puddings, mince pies and other treats to sell, contact Jacqueline on 082-462-7184 or email jacqueline@jagtrust.co.za.

All funds raised on the days will go to 4 Paws and a Tale Rescue.
