Help Toti look blooming marvellous

The recent clean-up has left the area looking lovely

HAVING now entered the final quarter of the year, there are a mere 10 weeks to Christmas, and just more than half of those until tourists return to this sun-drenched coast for a summer holiday.
The recent clean-up has left the area looking lovely, but there’s no doubt that the ever-present coastal winds will soon leave their mark in distributing litter liberally across verges, roads and beaches.
As a community of people who live, school and work in this area, we need to ensure we all do our bit to reduce the problem.
It starts with not littering in the first place, and also making the effort to maintain the area around your home, school, church or business. Making the effort to invigorate your verge with any of the wide range of summer-blooming plants available.
This communal effort can only pay dividends, and ensure that Toti looks tip-top come the December holidays.
