Hollywood Athletic Club’s manager, Mandred Seidler, said that since 2021, the event has grown into a major highlight of the running calendar.

“It’s inspiring to see the country’s best embrace the challenge, pushing the boundaries of South African road running. Our race route is flat and designed for speed,” he said.

Ciska Elston finished the race in a time of 1:00:03, followed by Michelle Rosewell, Andrew Elston and Sharon Zulch.

Ciska, the RWFL Toti franchisee, said they had a great morning run. “It was a really great route and well-organised event. We are so grateful the rain stayed away and that we only had to contend with the wind for the first half. Well done to everyone,” she said.
