Isipingo Beach water restored

The area was without water for a number of days.

ON TUESDAY, Ward 90 councillor Shad Nowbuth confirmed that repairs to a main water pipe that had burst in Isipingo Beach have been completed.

The repairs were undertaken at Outer Circuit Road, and as night fell on the day of the announcement, backfilling work started.

“Water supply will be gradually restored to the affected areas,” said Nowbuth.

The rupture of the old pipe happened a few days earlier and left a number of households without water.
