Amanzimtoti women receive recognition

The Amanzimtoti Women's Institute recognised the contribution made by two women in the community.

THE Amanzimtoti Women’s Institute (AWI) recently awarded certificates of recognition at their monthly meeting to two women for their community contribution.

AWI president Belinda Thole said they recognised the contribution made by the two women in the community as part of celebrating Women’s Day. “Denise Ashburner and Carol Lane are both instrumental in assisting with the weekly Wednesday meals at Jabulani – The Kingsburgh Welfare Organisation for the Aged,” she said.
