April dates for Winklespruit licensing centre
The Winklespruit DLTC offers drivers’ licensing-related services only but does not offer motor vehicle licensing services.
IN ANTICIPATION of the upcoming Easter holidays, the Department of Transport has published weekend opening dates and operation hours at the Winklespruit Drivers Licence Testing Centre (DLTC) and at the Motor Vehicle Licence Centre.

Departmental spokesperson Kwanele Ncalane said the DLTC will open on the Saturdays of April 15, 22, and 29 for all drivers’ licence-related transactions from 07:00 to 13:00. Motor vehicle licence transactions at Winklespruit Sizakala Centre will be on the same dates, but from 07:30 to 12:30.
“You are advised that the Winklespruit DLTC offers drivers’ licensing-related services such as bookings for learners and driver tests, as well as testing, renewal of drivers’ licences, applications for and renewals of PrDPs, and collection of drivers’ licence cards. They do not offer motor vehicle licensing services,” said Ncalane.
