Amanzimtoti Country Club to host golf day fundraiser

In order to make the day a success, the club is appealing for donations or sponsorships.

THE Amanzimtoti Country Club and Conservancy will be hosting a golf day on October 8, in order to raise funds in the assistance of flood recovery, repairs and maintenance to the course and buildings.

The format will be 4-ball alliance, 2 scores to count. The cost of a 4-ball will be R1 000, excluding golf carts. Meal included. Limited carts available at R280 each. The first event starts at 06:44 and second one at 10:44.

They are hoping to make the day an annual commemorative celebration of the continued resilience shown by the club, even after 106 years.

“We are reaching out to various members of the community as both individuals and businesses and we would like to kindly request any sponsorships, donations or 4-ball entries available to assist us in meeting this goal and making the golf day a success,” said their administrator, Lencé Gebhardt.
