The snake was first seen by Nomkhosi Mabele on Saturday, June 12, peeking from the ceiling, and she called Caitlin who came and searched for it but to no avail. Caitlin was able to finally locate it the next day with the help of another snake catcher, Miguel de Fonseca, after the ceiling was broken to gain access.

“I’m terrified at the thought that we were living with such a dangerous snake in the house,” said Nomkhosi.

The snake was later released safely back into its natural habitat.

For snake removal, Caitlin can be contacted on 084 205 4677, and Michael on 072 612 3218.
