Amanzimtoti Cricket Club hosts women’s T20 semi-finals

AN EXPLOSIVE round of cricket was hosted at Amanzimtoti Cricket Club on Sunday, 31 October.
The Women’s T20 semi-finals saw Chesterville ready to take on Lindelani, however, the team gave a walkover. In the afternoon match, Fam Kwama took on Chatsworth Sporting and managed to bag 34/10 while Chatsworth Sporting made 35/2 resulting in the team winning by eight wickets.
The Amanzimtoti Cricket Club is looking for more women to join its team. The club has some of the best training facilities in KwaZulu-Natal and the women team’s coach has previously represented the South African Cricket Team. Practice takes place on Wednesdays at 18:00.
