Amanzimtoti Racing Pigeon Club completed its last race of the year

This was a nail biting race for both Basil Tait and Doug Fry as they were within a few points of one another going into the last race.

AMANZIMTOTI Racing Pigeon Club (ARPC) raced the final race of the year from Polokwane, a distance of 725km.

This was a nail biting race for both Basil Tait and Doug Fry as they were within a few points of one another going into the last race. Tait ended with victory, just ahead of his partner, Jana Viviers, who was second.

Doug was third and fourth and all three Toti fanciers finished first, second, third and fourth in the Durban federation.

Basil won first Z nomination and took third prize in the Durban North Club sale nominations.

Jana won the club pools once again and Doug won second, third and fourth Z pools and was first and second club derby as well as first in the Toti young bird nomination.

Basil is the new Toti club champion, followed by Doug and Danny Bradshaw.

In the Durban federation, Doug is the new champion with Basil in third position.

This is the first time in the history of Toti club that one of its members has been the federation champion and having two members in the top three is a big achievement.
