Community jointly assist organisation

The organisation provides free palliative nursing care to those in need, and support to their families.

“THANK you for opening your hearts to Khanya Hospice.”

These are the words of an always grateful Neil McDonald, who is the CEO of the hospice.

Kuswag Skool recently donated toilet rolls, women’s sanitary pads and nappies to the organisation. “The gesture is greatly appreciated and will be well managed,” said Neil.

The three Ramadhar brothers, Muni, Ashen and Sunil-Tutt, came to the rescue of the organisation when it came to transporting the donation from Amanzimtoti to Umkomaas.

According to Neil, Ashen did not hesitate and was ready to help. “Thank you guys, your help is also greatly appreciated,” said Neil.

Khanya Hospice, as an NGO, is not government funded. The organisation provides free palliative nursing care to those in need, and support to their families.
