Wonderbags available at Turning Point

The initiative is to assist people financially during the Covid-19 pandemic while raising funds for the organisation.

Turning Point (Amanzimtoti Trauma Unit) is proud to be part of the Community Chest and Wonderbag project. The last of the Wonderbags are being sold at R50 each until Friday, 16 July. The bags can be collect at 1 Queen’s Terrace Dooneside Amanzimtoti time 9:00 till 15:00.

The initiative is to assist people financially during the Covid-19 pandemic while raising funds for the organisation.

With the Wonderbag you can reduce expenses on cooking fuel because you can cook food in it and also keep food warm for hours. The Wonderbag also assists with the environment, since people use less wood, charcoal, gas and electricity when cooking.

The Wonderbag comes with an instruction booklet and is available at the organisation for R50 each. The bags can make a great gift for a family member or friend. The organisation assists the community by providing immediate trauma intervention at the point of crisis, provides free 24-hour support and encouragement to victims of crime and abuse, and assists the community by providing counselling to victims of crime and abuse with referrals and networking with other services.
