Big dreams for Adams Collage girl

Zamambo is a Grade 12 learner at Adams College and encourages other learners to strive for their goals.

Adams Mission resident, Zamambo Mkhize, was recently selected to represent South Africa at the International Models and Talent Association (IMTA) competition in New York City.  She recently auditioned for the International Arts Talent Showcase competition in Johannesburg where she wowed judges.

“Modelling is something that I love very much. It makes me feel humble and super excited to have been selected. Getting the opportunity of going to New York City and represent my country at the IMTA event means a lot to me. It will enable me to get international education which I will use to empower society and increase the talent of my beautiful country, especially the youth of today.”

IMTA focuses on displaying modelling, acting, singing and dancing at competitions where unsigned talent and models compete in hopes of being discovered.

“This will be my first time travelling out of the country and this is truly a dream come true. However, in order to make this possible, I need to raise funds that will be used for the trip. I appeal to the public to assist me to make my dream a reality.”

Zamambo is a Grade 12 learner at Adams College and encourages other learners to strive for their goals.

“I don’t find it challenging to balance my school work with modelling. I believe that time management is the most important aspect along with hard work. I encourage other learners to work hard and always remember that there are only 24 hours in a day. It is up to you to make the day count.”
