Suspects ransack and rob Isipingo home

The suspects were spotted by a resident and were seen fleeing in a white Toyota Yaris which is smashed on the driver's side and a silver VW Polo with a NUZ registration.

A group of suspects allegedly broke into an Isipingo home and fled with televisions and other items on Monday, 5 January.

It is alleged about five suspects, dressed in blue overalls, gained access to the residence by breaking the lock on the rear gate. Members of PT Alarms with Isipingo and Amanzimtoti SAPS attended the scene.

“The suspects ransacked the house and appeared to have made off with two televisions. It is unknown what other items were stolen,” said spokesperson of PT Alarms, Trishen Govender.

The suspects were spotted by a resident and were seen fleeing in a white Toyota Yaris which is smashed on the driver’s side and a silver VW Polo with NUZ registration but the digits are unknown.

“We are on high alert for the vehicles. Residents are urged to be vigilant at all times. Check on your neighbour’s property if they are not present. Investigate discreetly if dogs bark incessantly. Take note of suspicious persons and unfamiliar vehicles in the area.  Report all suspicious occurrences to the police or your security service provider immediately.”
