Windy Heights teachers honoured

The day provided an occasion to celebrate the teaching profession worldwide, take stock of achievements and draw attention to the voices of teachers, who are at the heart of efforts to attain the global education target of leaving no one behind.

In commemoration of World Teachers’ Day the staff of Windy Heights Primary School was honoured at a glittering event on Monday, 5 October. Leading in crisis, re-imagining the future, was the theme of the day.

The day provided an occasion to celebrate the teaching profession worldwide, take stock of achievements and draw attention to the voices of teachers, who are at the heart of efforts to attain the global education target of leaving no one behind. The event was well attended and included a host of entertainment and delicious treats.
