Lockdown rules not adhered to [LETTER]

Maybe some one should be policing these places to ensure masks are being worn and social distancing is being practiced.

EDITOR – I went to renew my motor vehicle license on 22 June, at 11.30am at Umbogintwini post office in Athlone Park, only to find 150 people queuing to do the same thing.
No more than 10 people were wearing masks and no one was practicing social distancing, in fact it was scary when you consider the pandemic we are having to deal with. I am almost 70-years-old and am in the high risk area. How am I supposed to obtain my vehicle license under these circumstances? I have to renew my drivers license as well, I dread going to the testing grounds to do this as I am almost certain I am going to encounter the same problem.
Maybe some one should be policing these places to ensure masks are being worn and social distancing is being practiced.
