Organisation hopes to spread winter warmth

An appeal is made to donors to ensure that the clothing and blankets are clean and in good condition.

Members of PT Alarms encourages the community to consider the individuals, young, elderly, and families who will face this bitter winter without proper clothes, blankets and the bare necessities.

Spokesperson of PT Alarms, Dhevan Govindasamy said, “Many of the vulnerable and displaced members of the community have been further challenged due to Covid-19 lockdown and are battling hunger, illness and poverty. We have decided to spread the winter warmth to those in need by collecting gently used clothes and blankets as well as new items to help keep our communities protected during the chilly season. Please think about those less fortunate this Winter and dig deep into your pockets and cupboards for some warm winter clothing, blankets, even non-perishable food items. We want to reach and assist as many people as we can,” he added.

An appeal is made to donors to ensure that the clothing and blankets are clean and in good condition.
