The episode was recorded in December 2019, however, it aired on eTV on Sunday, 14 June, at 6pm, and it will repeat on Friday at 4pm. The show features two families that compete to name the most popular responses from survey questions in order to win cash and prizes.

Senele Goba, who was overjoyed to be featured on the show said, “It was a very exciting opportunity. We participated in the show as five of the 11 siblings. We are a family fond of fun and games. When asked what her thoughts are on being on the show, she said, “It is something that will go down in my biography. On a television show, you get a chance to entertain the nation with your participation and spark some conversations in homes wherever people are watching. There were a lot of fun things that happened there during the breaks and during the shoots that made being on that show one of the greatest experiences ever. You can expect to laugh – Family Feud is an entertainment show in addition to being a competition. The show is not about being right or wrong, it is about being lucky in guessing the popular answers. This aspect of the show sparks a lot of conversation and arguments among the viewers. We had a very contentious ‘Kota’ question which created over 44 000 debates on Twitter on the show. We are still arguing about it today,” she said.

One of the highlights for the family was meeting international television personality, Steve Harvey, who is the host of the show.

He gave each of the contestants his undivided attention.”

To find out how the family scored tune in to the re-run of the episode on Friday, 19 June, at 4pm.
