CCPO hunts for Amanzimtoti housebreaker

They received a tip-off on the whereabouts of the suspect, who is well known to them

Stolen items were recovered by the CCPO following a raid on the suspected housebreaker’s residence in the Ziko area on Friday, 3 April.

Committee member, George Snodey said they received a tip-off on the whereabouts of the suspect, who is well known to them. “He was allegedly selling some of the stolen property, so supervisor Logan Naidoo and his crewman, accompanied by Toti detectives, did a midnite raid on the premises, where some of the suspected stolen property was stashed.”

A sound system, stolen from an Adams Road residence, was recovered, along with a few other items, including an electric sander, which is not from Adams Road. “The suspect was not at home and members are on the lookout for him. If you have recently lost a sander and you recognise this one, call me on 083-655-4302.”
