Robbery and murder suspect nabbed in Amanzimtoti

The vehicle is suspected to have been used in the commission of various offenses.

A hijacked vehicle was recovered by Toti armed response officers in KwaMakhutha on Thursday, 12 March. ET Rapid Response’s tactical response team (TRT) was notified a hijacked white Toyota Hilux’s tracking device was send out a signal in KwaMakhuta and recovered the abandoned vehicle.

In a separate incident, a robbery and murder suspect was nabbed while driving in Toti on Tuesday, 10 March. The vehicle is suspected to have been used in the commission of various offenses, ranging from house robbery to murder in the Malvern and Greenwood Park policing areas.

“Assistance was called via the CCPO radio network, and our TRT, together with Toti SAPS crime prevention unit and CCPO members, stopped the vehicle. The driver and vehicle were taken to Toti SAPS for further processing and investigation,” said managing member Tony Lokker.
