Riders get muddy at lap challenge

The biggest draw card for the spectators was, of course, the Gauche Air Floating Bridge.

The KZN Mountain Bike Lap Challenge Series hosted by Amanzimtoti Cycle Club certainly left an impression on riders on Sunday, 23 February.
The track, cited as being a tough, but thor-oughly enjoy-able, saw some of KZN’s biggest names taking part.

The club’s Marlene Elsip said, “ACC’s very own Hendrik Bester managed a respectable seventh place in the elite batch. The biggest draw card for the spectators was, of course, the Gauche Air Floating Bridge. Gauche Air also donated a cash prize to the one and only rider to fall on the bridge.”

The cycling club is now looking forward to what is coming up.
