Edu Paw classes set to commence

This is the aim for each class, but it can only be achieved through the faithful and generous donations of their wonderful supporters.

It is often said that an investment in knowledge pays the best interest.  For the members of Edu Paw this quotes holds true. The organisation re-opens on Saturday, 18 January, and the first class commences on Saturday, 25 January.
However, in order to ensure that the organisation thrives, members appeal for sponsors.

Founder of the organisation, Cathy Keegan said, “We take 12 children through an eight week educational programme where we cover both theory and practical lessons in complete canine care.  During the eight weeks, their dogs will receive primary health care (vaccinations, deworming) dipping and treatment for mange, dog food, dog treats and toys as well as, collars, leads, dog shampoo, dip and blankets and most importantly every dog will be sterilized.”

“The children who attend faithfully along with their dogs, graduate at the end of the eight weeks at a graduation ceremony followed by a party. The children are also given a range of canine care educational material in isiZulu. Anyone who wants to contribute to this cause can make a once-off payment or a debit order into the SPCA account with Edu Paw as the reference,” she added.
