BREAKING: Shots fired at Arbour Crossing during business robbery

The suspects fled on foot, leaving the bullet-riddled vehicles behind.

Shots were fired during a business robbery at Arbour Crossing early this morning.
According to Captain Charlene van der Spuy, between 10 and 15 armed suspects broke into Cash Crusaders and Pick n Pay at Arbour Crossing.
On arrival, a shootout between ET Rapid Response and the suspects ensued. Two suspects were arrested and two firearms were recovered.
Van der Spuy said the other suspects fled the scene through the back entrance. They are still at large.
“All the various units were on scene, that includes SAPS, armed response units, K9 unit, task team and forensics. None of the members in attendance sustained injuries. Because of the extensive gun fire, the whole scene has to be combed by forensics for spent cartridges.”
Van der Spuy said the suspects fled on foot, leaving their vehicles, riddled with bullet holes, on scene.
The community is advised to stay clear of the area.
More follow-ups will follow.
