Fond memories made at Gryses en Groentjies event
The Kuswag monitors were delighted to serve the oumas and oupas.
A Gryses en Groentjies event was held at Mooi Hawens and Solidariteit Helpende Hand, the Mothers of Hope group and Kuswag School joined forces for a day of interaction between the senior citizens and children on Friday, 4 October.
This year the theme was ‘our garden’ and the fruit and vegetables were used as decorations. This was special because the senior citizens could then take it back to their rooms after the function.

The Kuswag monitors were delighted to serve the oumas and oupas through out the day while also handing out gifts to all the non-mobile citizens in their rooms.
