The club open day and the official start of the season is on Sunday, 1 September from 8.30am at Winklespruit Main Beach.

It has been quiet during the winter break at Winklespruit Surf Lifesaving Club, but summer promises to be a busy and fun-filled season, starting this weekend. On Saturday the first batch of the lifeguard examinations took place and congratulations to juniors Lanesca Esterhuizen, Rusty Isemonger, JJ Niemand and Caden Button for passing their JLA exam. The second batch of examinations take place in a few weeks.

The surrounding community is invited to come and see what lifesaving is all about and members of the public who want to get involved in any aspect of lifesaving need to be on site to be informed.
