Ramblers set to explore Umhlanga Rocks

Toti Ramblers will walk at Umhlanga Rocks on Sunday, 14 July.

The walk will be along the beach promenade and into the indigenous forest. It is a fairly easy walk, so all are welcome. Take along sun screen and a hat. There will be a picnic after the walk near the car park. Don`t forget to take your chair. Attendees meet at Lords and Legends parking area at 7am to sort out transport. If you are new to the area, rather meet at Lords and Legends parking area and travel in convoy. An indemnity form must be completed if not already done, and have your ID number available. There is no entrance fee for this walk.

Directions: Travelling along the N2 north, at the Umhlanga Rock’s intersection get into Umhlanga Rocks Drive M12, then into Lighthouse Road, turn right into Weaver Crescent ( just before Oyster Box Hotel). At T-junction – left into Ocean Way and first right into Marine Drive. Continue along Marine Drive to Durban View Road, there is a traffic circle at this intersection with parking on the left. The picnic site is behind the parking area.
