Amanzimtoti legend Rassie ‘The Ford Guru’ Erasmus to be remembered

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, 5 July at Grace Baptist church at 10am, situated at 6 Whitfield Drive, St Winifreds.

AMANZIMTOTI local, Rassie Erasmus (59), died on Wednesday, 26 June after suffering a stroke.

Rassie grew up in Klerksdorp and after marrying the love of his life, Barbara Erasmus, moved to the quaint town of Amanzimtoti. He has two sons, Lance (24) and Grant (21) and a daughter Cindy (17).

Rassie’s death came as a shock to those who knew and loved him. The dearly beloved husband, father and friend will be remembered for, among other things, his passion for muscle cars. This burning passion saw him often referred to as ‘The Ford Guru’.

A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, 5 July at Grace Baptist church at 10am, situated at 6 Whitfield Drive, St Winifreds.
