UPDATE: Family of fire-ravaged home seeks help

Donations can be dropped off at Go Bananaz, situated at 20 Rockview Road, Amanzimtoti.

THE family residing in the Orbell Lane home, which burnt to the ground yesterday evening (Thursday, 6 June), are in desperate need of donations of clothing, food, blankets and appliances.

The fire, which started after 6pm yesterday, rapidly tore through the home leaving little to nothing of the family’s belongings.

Clothing sizes for the family include:

  • The mother is a size 38 and size 4 shoe.
  • The father is a size 34/36 and size 9 shoe.
  • The son (9) is a size 1 shoe and his clothing is size 9-10 years old.
