Stakeholders beautify entrance to business park

To discourage litter, 15 recycled monkey proof refuse bins have also been placed in and around the entrance to Southgate Business Park.

A collaboration between various stakeholders along Moss Kolnik Road has resulted in a more aesthetically pleasing entrance to Southgate Business Park and Acacia’s Umbogintwini Industrial Complex.

Acacia Leasing recently undertook the clearing of the exotic invader vegetation between Moss Kolnik Road and their new boundary fence for improved visibility and security reasons. They have also contracted out the maintenance of the grassed areas to the company that also maintains the Moss Kolnik verge outside Southgate Business Park.

Toyota Boshoku sponsored and planted 15 indigenous trees along Moss Kolnik Road on Friday, 17 May that will eventually provide shade for pedestrians walking from Southgate Business Park to Galleria and back. In an attempt to discourage the litter that ends up in the area’s storm water systems, and ultimately on the beaches, they also sponsored 15 recycled monkey proof refuse bins in and around the entrance to Southgate Business Park.
