Toti gymnasts shine at zone qualifier

Fusion Rhythmic Gymnastics Club leader and level two and three coach, Jess Odendaal, will also judge at the zone festival.

Amanzimtoti gymnasts excelled at a recent Rhythmic Gymnastics KZN zone qualifier. The following gymnasts were selected to represent the KZN Gymnastics Union at the North Zone Festival in Johannesburg on 14 and 15 June, based on their scores.

Level one U7: Arna Ramsunder (silver); Namhla Msane (silver).
Level one U8: Tanya Mathunjwa (second overall, gold); Tebogo Thobejane (silver) ; Danielle Latsky (silver).
Level one U9: Zoe Botha (second overall, gold); Angel Ugochukwu (silver).
Level one U10: Leane Roux (gold).
Level one U11: Ayabonga Mkhonza (third overall, gold).
Level one O11: Fatima Molefe (second overall, gold); Andiswa Makhanya (first overall, gold and trophy for highest score).
Level two U9: Zimkhitha Venter (silver).
Level two U10: Karmie Labuschagne (gold); Ashraya Hooblaul (first overall, gold and trophy for highest score).
Level two U11: Tyler Rossouw (gold); Emma-Ann Newman (silver).
Level two O11: Cayci Botha (third overall, gold); Talitha Venter (gold).
Level three U10: Mieke Bester (first overall, gold and trophy for highest score).
Level three U11: Lexie Marsburg.

Fusion Rhythmic Gymnastics Club leader and level two and three coach, Jess Odendaal, will also judge at the zone festival and Lindy Botha, the level 1 coach with Zas Mkhize, will accompany the girls to Johannesburg.
