Stage two, the hard enduro course, designed by Dakar Rally legend Stuart Gregory, proved to be an unbelievable track with the terrain testing the guys’ fitness levels and skill.

The riders completed their specific number of laps of a 30km course through this wonderful riding area to the midpoint at KwaZolo where there was a special grass track before they headed home. The course was intense and well-marshalled by the Silver Bullets and local riders from the Munster area.

“I was surprised to win because I didn’t really have a good race, but then it came together at the end,” said Cayden, who was born in Amanzimtoti and being living in Widenham for seven years. He also enjoys playing rugby and swimming, and in his spare time loves to play Xbox or throw a line.

He attends Scottburgh High School and has been riding for six years. My dad bought us a bike and my friends were riding too, that’s how I got into it. I did MX (motorcross) for about a year and then changed to enduro. I like going fast and the adrenaline rush of enduro.”
