Good bowling to our women who begin their Inter-Club League campaign on Saturday, 13 April, as well as to the men who will be playing their fifth round.

CONGRATULATIONS to the six Toti Bowling Club teams who won their sections in the round robin of the Oppenheimer Mixed Pairs.

Going through to the play-offs which will take place all day on Sunday, 14 April in Toti are Tokkie de Kock and Keith West; Steve Evenwel and Elmarie Young; Ian Crouch and Julie Sutherland; Dion Audie and Dominque Horn; Greg McLeod and Marion Crouch: and Jeanne Alexander and Ray Robinson.

In the fourth round of Men’s Inter-Club League, Toti A lost 2-5 to Stella Park A away; Toti B won 5-2 over Umhlali B at home; Toti C lost 2-5 vs Wentworth A at home; Toti D lost 0-5 vs Wentworth B at home; and Toti E lost 1-4 vs Chatsworth B at home.

Good bowling to our women who begin their Inter-Club League campaign on Saturday, 13 April, as well as to the men who will be playing their fifth round.

In the women’s 2-4-2 Doreen Salmond and Jackie Holdrick were the winners; runners-up were Elbie Fourie and Cathy Badenhorst and the second session went to Julie Sutherland and Elmarie Young. Stella Erasmus won the 100 board.

In the men’s trips, Barry Bush, Mike Groom and Ray Robinson were the winners and the second session was won by Peter Labuschagne, Phil Perkins and Ben Venter.

The draw for the men’s novice singles is on the board, as well as entry lists for men’s open and senior singles. Lists are still on the board for the women’s novices and open and senior singles. Note there will be no big chicks this month because of the Easter Pro 10, and no mutton as there will be oppenheimer play offs that day.

At TGIF Eric Gardner won the 100 board. Dawn Brunsdon was not present to win the attendance draw; next week’s draw will be worth R350. Marion Crouch’s key would not turn in the lock; next week’s lucky key will be worth R1 280.

Good wishes are sent this week to the following birthday girls: Elsie Walker, Stella Erasmus, Sue Blount and Dawn Schauer.
