Ipahla Road resident opens fire on house robbers

Three suspects derailed the driveway gate and entered the property just after 7pm.

House robbers got more than they bargained for when an Ipahla Road resident opened fire on them on Saturday night, 23 March.

The Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) reported that three suspects, in a silver VW Golf 7 with registration ND 257657, derailed the driveway gate and entered the property just after 7pm. The caretaker of the property opened fire on them and they fled empty-handed.
