Cyclone Idai: Support Amanzimtoti-driven disaster aid missions in Mozambique

Donations of non-perishable food, clothing and water are desperately needed and can be dropped off at various donation points.

CYCLONE Idai wreaked havoc and tore through Mozambique recently, leaving hundreds dead and thousands desperate for assistance.  Locals have rallied together to make donations towards supporting disaster aid missions currently underway.

Donations of non-perishable food, clothing and water are desperately needed and can be dropped off at various donation points.

In light of the devastation of cyclone Idai in Mozambique and neighbouring countries, Ajay Ramlall has begun to rally different sectors of the community to make donations, and hopes the efforts of those contributing will bring some aid in the region.

The havoc (photos supplied):

Ajay explained that donations are to reach the area by both shipping and air transportation. Some 25,000 litres of water have already been donated and a Durban-based doctor is already on his way to provide medical attention to the many affected. Due to unrest and in an effort to save time, donations will be flown directly to the most affected areas on Thursday,  28 March.

Those suffering the damage would highly appreciate your generous support catering such aid to this disaster region.
