Welfare receives gifts for Amanzimtoti woman’s 80th birthday

The wonderful gesture was so appreciated by the Kingsburgh Welfare and saw a whopping and needed sum of money raised for the local charity.

IN celebration of her 80th birthday on Sunday, 3 March, Amanzimtoti’s generous Sheila Court asked friends and family that instead of gifting her presents, to rather donate towards the Kingsburgh Child and Family Welfare.

The wonderful gesture was so appreciated by the Kingsburgh Welfare and saw a whopping and needed sum of money raised for the local charity.

“I chose Kingsburgh Child and Family Welfare because I feel they do so much good in our community and we are always trying to uplift the community in the various educational programs run throughout the year,” said Sheila.

KCFW’s Jenny Smith commented: “This was a wonderful gesture on Sheila’s behalf that saw guests donate to the welfare instead of buying her gifts. Kingsburgh Child and Family Welfare sincerely thanks the Court family for their support of our society.”
