Classic car show planning shifts into high gear

This will be the 10th charity show organised by the Scottburgh Classic Car Club.

PLANNING for this year’s Scottburgh Classic Car Show on Sunday, 7 July has begun and it will be held at Scottburgh High School.

This will be the 10th charity show organised by the Scottburgh Classic Car Club.

The Rising Sun community newspaper will kindly sponsor the show again, this being the ninth year they have supported the event.

The show will include a huge display of pre-1975 classic cars and motorcycles as well as several parades with the highlight being the popular ‘fun and fashion parade’ to entertain whole the family. All classic cars and bikes owners must pre-register for the event at at www.scottburghclassiccarshow.co.za to display their vehicle on the show-field.

The organisers need additional marshals to help direct cars and pedestrians at the show. If you wish to make a voluntary contribution to this event, contact Peter Fielding on 039-976-1995 – no time wasters or tyre-kickers.
