Fill-up folks! Petrol price set to increase this week

The petrol price in South Africa is set to rise by 74 cents per litre this Wednesday.

The petrol price will be hiked by the department of energy on Wednesday, 6 March for South African motorists. It’s the second consecutive monthly increase and the biggest one the country has faced since October 2018.

According to the department, road users in South Africa will now be paying 74 cents more per litre for their petrol – that includes both grades of 93 and 95. Meanwhile, diesel consumers have had the misery heaped on them too. They’ll be looking at an increase of 93 cents per litre.
