Nat Geo duo to fundraise in Amanzimtoti on behalf of pitbulls

The duo will be at the local sports club on Sunday, 3 February from 10am until 1pm.

NAT GEO Wild’s Snakes in the City stars Simon Keys and Siouxsie Gillett will host a meet and greet at Amanzimtoti Sports Club in an effort to raise funds for KZN-based pitbull rehoming organisation, SerendiPitty Rescue.

The duo will be at the local sports club on Sunday, 3 February from 10am until 1pm.

Fans will have a chance to get their photo taken with the stars and also walk away with a signed poster. There will be food and drinks vendors selling a variety of goods including coffee, craft beer, donuts and other food. Entrance cost is R60 for adults and R20 for children younger than 12-years-old.

SerendiPitty Rescue is a no-kill dog rescue organisation based in KZN. The organisation is dedicated to rescue, protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned and homeless pitbull type dogs. As with many animal rescue organisations, SerendiPitty Rescue relies solely on donations from the public to continue its life-saving mission.

The organisation spends much of its funds on the cost of veterinary care and treatment when their rescue dogs require.
