A housebreaker was nabbed by Blue Security and Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) officers on Monday, 29 October after he broke into a Sherwood Crescent home in Amanzimtoti.
A Blue Security response officer responded to an alarm activation at about 10am. When CCPO and Blue Security patrol officer, Mbuyiselo ‘Triple M’ Mdunjane and his crewman Mbambo Nhlanhla joined him at the premises with a colleague, the housebreaker was trapped inside the house.
He managed to break a back window and fled but he was apprehended by the officers nearby with the stolen goods. The suspect was handed over to Amanzimtoti SAPS.
