The body of a missing cattle herder was found in the Umbogintwini River in KwaMakhutha on Tuesday, 23 October.

Community members raised the alarm when his body was spotted. “The man was herding his cattle when he entered the river and disappeared beneath the surface,” said police. He is believed to have drowned.
Police conducted a three-day search and will now investigate his death.
