Access free eBooks with these simple steps

Did you know you can read free eBooks from your library on your computer or eBook reader?

It’s so easy:

  • Browse
  • Checkout
  • Download

Automatic returns – no late fines!

Here’s a simple step by step guide:

  1. Join your local library and receive a barcoded library card.
  2. Ask your librarian to register you for their eBook service.
  3. On your computer, find your library’s Overdrive website at kznpls.lib.overdrive.com
  4. Log in to your library’s OverDrive website with your library card to see all the eBooks available.
  5. Once you find an available eBook, move your mouse over the eBook and click borrow.
  6. Borrowed eBooks will appear on your bookshelf under your account.
  7. For most borrowed eBooks, you can click read to begin reading immediately in your browser.
  8. You can borrow three eBooks for 14 days at a time.
  9. The eBooks will automatically be returned after the landing period.
  10. No late fines!

You can also choose an eBook format to download by following the simple instructions on the OverDrive website.
