EDITOR – Besides the rotting stink emanating from the pump-station on Kingsway in Winkelspruit, in addition to that massive unprotected hole, which is an open invitation for animal or human injury, plus the disgusting flotsam in and around that, there is another issue that begs attention.
The bikers who ride at high speed and excessively tear up and down Kingsway Road as soon as the sun goes down.
They open their throttles and ride at top speed from Baggies Beach to beyond Victory Spar every weekend and during evenings. C’mon people, is this really acceptable?
Where are the Metro cops? Oh wait a minute – shopping at the mall or engaged on their mobile phones. To hell with the law-breakers, especially after its time to clock out.
Is there anyone else who has a problem with the motorbikes that use Kingsway as their private racetrack? As for the club where the bikers gather – drunken driving is forgiven!
