Get ready for Jabulani Senior Citizens fundraiser

The action happens on Saturday, 11 August from 10am until 2pm.

All roads lead to Hutchison Park on Saturday, 11 August for the annual Jabulani Senior Citizens Residence fundraiser to assist in raising funds for much-needed refurbishment of the lifts.

“Come and support the Jabulani Senior Citizens Residence annual fundraiser,” said fundraiser Reena Solomon. “Entry is free and everyone is invited to join in the fun.”

The fundraiser will once again be held in the hall and on the field at Amanzimtoti Sports Centre, following the success of last year, in an effort to attract more people and provide better facilities.

Visitors can enjoy raffles and tombola, the Warner Beach Prep school choir, DJ Fluffy, pony rides, popcorn, candy floss, boerie rolls, pancakes, pickles, jams, bric-a-brac, crafts, books and lots more.

The action happens from 10am until 2pm. Raffle tickets are available to purchase from the Jabulani office and at the fundraiser, at a cost of R5 a ticket. Stalls that don’t conflict with what Jabulani residents will have on sale are permitted. The cost is R100 a stall and you need to bring your own table, chairs and gazebo. Stall holders are encouraged to offer a percentage or a donation from their takings to help Jabulani’s fundraising efforts.

Local companies are also invited to promote their business at a cost of R100 a table. To book a stall or table, or for more information, call Reena on 083-448-7473.
