Get ready for rollicking new Umkomaas theatre show

UMPAC shows have been held annually for over 30 years in Umkomaas with the cast made up of locals.

Theatre lovers should prepare for the show of the year when the Umkomaas Performing Arts Company (UMPAC) hosts ‘Genderlicious/Gendervicious’ (The Battle of The Sexes) in June.

The show takes to the stage at Umkomaas Primary School’s hall and is a Barnyard style evening, seated at tables with picnic baskets and bring your own drinks. “This year we have an added facility with food being available at the show. The menu will be advertised closer to the show,” said UMPAC’s Rod James.

UMPAC shows have been held annually for over 30 years in Umkomaas with the cast made up of locals. This year’s show is directed by Naomi Davidson and the theme is bound to have you laughing in your seats and rolling in the aisles, much like their previous shows.

Show dates and times: Friday, 22 and 29 June, and Saturday, 23 and 30 June at 8pm; Sunday, 25 June (matinee) at 2pm. Bookings will open in May. Watch this space for bookings and more information.
