Celebrate Earth Day and go green

Celebrate Earth Day today.

TAKE a moment to think about the planet today, 22 April as we celebrate Earth Day.

The annual event sees the world take on issues relating to the protection of Earth, the environment and climate change.

This year, the focus is on environmental and climate literacy.

So, how do you celebrate Earth Day? You can go to your local environmental organisation and learn about the work they do and educate yourself on how you can reduce your impact on the planet. You could look at ways to reduce your carbon footprint. Maybe take some time to switch off from the rush of the digital world and appreciate the nature around you.

Education is paramount to changing the way we look at the planet and the resource we have. Take what you learn on Earth Day and use it to improve yourself and those around you to create a sustainable way of life for future generations to enjoy.
